Rehoboth Wedding Expo launched

The Rehoboth Wedding Expo Namibia 2025 will be held at the Hermanus van Wyk Community Hall at Rehoboth from 5 to 7 June.

The expo aims to raise funds for the Annalie Olivier Old Age Home

“The event is open for the public. There will be a kiddies area, braai stalls, potjiekos, cake tasting, cocktail hour, cash bar and lots more. People get married and there is always a lot of planning to be done for a wedding and everything around a wedding. We aim to get the Rehoboth SME’s in the wedding industry under one roof for bridal couples to come and visit and meet these people,” Enid Vergotine, the main organiser of the event said.

Vergotine said special guests will be in attendance, inlcuding Dr Olivier from the old age home, Rehoboth mayor Justin Coetzee, and Prisca Anyolo, Miss Namibia of 2024.

Vergotine said the event will kick off with a gala dinner, where the town’s business community can network.

“By having stalls, we aim to showcase products to make weddings a memorable and loving experience. The event took place last year, but was only for one day. This year it will stretch over three days and there will be a lot more to look forward to,” Vergotine said.

Tickets cost N$400 per person.
